North Queensland Aviation Services (NQ Aviation Services) was established in 1998 in a purpose built facility at Ingham airport. Geoff and Mary Brown are a husband and wife partnership who operate the business in conjunction with their team of well trained staff.
Geoff is an experienced pilot and aircraft engineer who has always been passionate about aviation.
He obtained his private pilot's licence on his sixteenth birthday and commenced his aircraft engineers apprenticeship in Townsville in 1980, after completing his senior education. His qualifications include ....

Mary takes care of the administration and financial management of the business.
Coming from a family that has to date a history of four generations of Accountants, numbers are in her blood. Mary also takes a special interest in spare parts - being until recently the South Pacific Partenavia spare parts supplier for the past 7 years. |
NQ Aviation Services own and operate the only AVGAS bowser on the airfield. Refuelling services are available 7 days a week with no call out fee charged.
We recommend contacting us in advance (if possible) if you are contemplating a week-end visit so that we can ensure staff are available to meet your needs. Jet A1 drums can be organised.
NQ Aviation Services are based at Ingham Airport. Ingham has a 5000 ft sealed runway and is outside controlled airspace.
The runway has pilot activated lighting operating on VHF frequency 120.05 and is fully fenced.
Ingham offers great activities and facilities including fishing, rain forest, bush walking, bird watching, great beaches and there are motels, hotels and caravan parks available if you wish to stay a little longer.
